In my top 3 fave covers of mine that Ive done this yr, everything on this one just clicked, especially with the colors. It all fell into place but that might have to do with the fact that Ivy has climbed to the top of my list (earlier this yr) of fave females to draw at DC. Everything about her is catered to my strengths, much like Morgana and Savage Land Rogue. 
 
I didn't use any photo ref on this, so the head tilt, the lighting and inward shoulders were all me and that's what I mean, by "it all just clicked" 
 
I wanted the leaves she is sitting on the look like water and some people have noticed and it feels good when the idea in your mind comes to life in a way that others see it too
