This Tomb Raider piece is the "study" before I transfer it to the bigger board for Copic add on's. I like to draw as much of the detail and thought process out including lighting at this stage so I don't have to struggle with it when I'm arting 
 
Tomb Raider did not come natural to me and was a struggle for almost 2 decades. Powerful and badass women were my biggest weaknesses because I like to mix beauty in with the power along with a dash of sexiness, "if I can" and that triple combo kicked my GO ASS for too long. This Lara Croft piece helped over come that struggle and now look forward to drawing her again.
