I wanted to do something different than all other Vampirella covers, i.e. her front. Most images I've seen of her is done of her bust side and being the GO ASS man, I wanted a dynamic take on her bum bum. 
 
I didn't draw the actual fire because I know somethings look better done digitally and Sanju does some sweet fire. I had fun with the detail on the rocks but was especially happy with the camera angle and design of the piece.
